DETAILS FOR EVALUATIONS:
1. I receive your request for a Vocal Assessment or Song delivery Critique . I’ll send you a Questionnaire and a Paypal invoice.
2. Make your payment of $35 (+ processing fee)
3. Fill out the Questionnaire that I send you. (Open the .doc, copy and paste it into a new document, save it as “VAQuest” or “SdCQuest”, fill it out and save again).
4. For a Vocal Assessment, record yourself singing 2 songs that demonstrate your singing ability. One should be a capella (without accompaniment) and one should have musical accompaniment (karaoke, guitar, piano, but nothing that drowns out your voice). For a Song delivery Critique, record yourself singing 1 original song with any musical accompaniment (NOT a capella)
If you are sending original material make sure it has a COPYRIGHT and please send me a lyrics sheet in a Word document. If you send me something you recorded in a professional studio, please know that my assessment may not be as accurate because your vocals have been processed. If it is at all possible, ask the engineer to give you a copy of the song without any effects or editing.
5. Email me with “VA” or “SdC” in the Subject and attach your completed questionnaire and your audio. Feel free to type a message if you have any comments or questions.
Once I receive your materials, you will get a confirmation email from me and then I’ll email your Evaluation back to you in 7- 10 days. Send all materials to ME@MelissaEllen.com. I look forward to hearing you.
